With over 47 years of experience including service as the Assistant to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, Kenton McDonald’s practice is focused on helping clients structure their business and their most important transactions in a tax-advantaged manner; structure their estates so as to minimize estate taxes; and contest unfavorable actions proposed by the IRS.

With 33 years’ experience as a trial lawyer, including service as a County Court at Law Judge, Alissa Adkins has a broad civil litigation practice involving contested matters at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

After 15 years of business experience , including several years as a CEO, Mike attended law school.  With over 26 years of experience as a lawyer, Mike finished his distinguished legal career as the first ever General Counsel and later also Executive Vice President of Whataburger.  Mike brings that experience to bear assisting clients in matters requiring the highest degree of legal judgment .
